Important update for windows 10 users! - Abdul Malik MA

Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After this date, there will be no free security updates for most users.

👉 But here’s the good news: According to Microsoft, some users can still receive Extended Security Updates (ESU) — and for many Home/Pro devices, it’s available at no extra cost.

I personally enrolled my PC, and now my device is secured with updates until October 13, 2026

📌 What does ESU mean?

• You will continue to receive critical and important security updates.

• No new features, design changes, or performance upgrades.

• Keeps your Windows 10 safe from vulnerabilities for an extra year.

• Available only if you enroll with a Microsoft Account.

📌 Who benefits from ESU?

• Individual Users (Home & Pro) → Some devices qualify for ESU at no additional cost.

• Organizations (Enterprise & Education) → They can purchase ESU subscriptions to extend protection.

• Anyone not ready to move to Windows 11 but still needing a secure system.

📌 How to check if you’re eligible?

1. Go to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update.

2. Look for the option “Extended Security Updates”.

3. If available, click Enroll and sign in with your Microsoft Account.

4. After enrollment, you’ll see your coverage confirmation (like mine: valid until October 13, 2026).

🌟 Why ESU is valuable

✅ Extra protection against security risks beyond 2025

✅ Peace of mind while preparing to upgrade to Windows 11

✅ Official Microsoft-supported updates (not third-party workarounds)

💡 If you see this option on your device, don’t ignore it! It’s a rare chance to keep Windows 10 safe beyond the official end date.
